Offers 8 week long Architecture courses during Summer Semester 2015
The Architecture Program at Columbus State Community College has the following 8 week long courses available during the upcoming Summer Semester 2015.
ARCH 1112 - Basic CAD Drafting (1 credit hour)
This course is an introductory course in 2D AutoCAD.
ARCH 2240 - AutoCAD 3D (2 credit hours)
This course is an introductory course in 3D AutoCAD.
ARCH 1276 – SketchUP (2 credit hours)
This course is an introductory course in SketchUP Pro.
ARCH 1274 - Revit Architecture I (2 credit hours)
This course is an introductory course in Revit Architecture and focuses on a Commercial Building project.
ARCH 2275 - Revit Architecture II (2 credit hours)
This course is an introductory course in Revit Architecture and focuses on a Residential Building project.
(Note: The Revit courses can be taken in either order. You are not required to take ARCH 1274 before ARCH 2275. The focus of the ARCH 1274 course is on a Commercial Building project while the focus of the ARCH 2275 course is on a Residential Building project. Take whichever building type interests you the most.)
These courses begin on May 26th and run for 8 weeks. The cost per credit hour is $135.93 (a 2 credit hour course would cost $271.86). Also, if you are 60 years old or older you would qualify for FREE tuition under the “Good as Gold” program.
